The Yellowstone Business Partnership was the featured topic at the “Lunchtime Expedition” lecture at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody last November. Sponsored by the Draper Museum for Natural History, the talk attracted an attentive 40-person audience and was covered by both the Cody and Billings newspapers. The Historical Center and Northwest College in nearby Powell have joined the YBP membership ranks, with more members expected following YBP’s presentation to the Chamber of Commerce’s “Cody Club” in January. Cody is attracting retirees and second home owners, while nearby Powell remains a productive agricultural center. Community leaders from both towns are beginning to work together to further diversify and strengthen the Park County economy.
